Maokeno
One year old puppy & My third puppy
Some people show their love for life by having pets. They share the beauty of the world with their animals, making memories together. Others may be more involved in animal advocacy, fighting for the rights and protection of animals.
But not everyone can have pets. Maybe they don’t have the time to care for them, or they can’t bear the thought of the inevitable separation when the pet’s life comes to an end. I understand that feeling. I once had two black dogs, and we shared some really great times. Unfortunately, they were stolen by dog thieves, which left me heartbroken and afraid to get another pet. I was scared of losing them again. Still, I love all kinds of animals and I often feel for the stray animals I see on the streets. I think about my two dogs often, and it’s because of them that I created this blog—maokeno.
Maokeno is named after my third dog. “Mao” means that no one should harm the body or fur, which is a meaningful symbol in Eastern culture. “Keno” is inspired by simple, fun games. I want my dog’s life, and the life I hope to share with others, to be as simple and joyful as possible.
Through this blog, I want to offer emotional support to fellow animal lovers—whether you’re a pet owner or just someone who loves animals. I share tips and knowledge about caring for different animals, as well as how to rescue and protect them. I also offer pet supplies and decorations for people who want to bring a little more joy and beauty into their homes through animals.
I hope this blog can make life with pets a little easier and a lot more fulfilling.
